Jose Medina Hernandez, 75, resident of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Friday, Sept. 9th, 2016. He was born on Sept 25, 1940 to Isabel and Jose S. Hernandez. He formerly resided in Lompoc, CA until his retirement in 1997 from Celite Corporation, where he worked as a metal welder, heavy equipment, operator, and mechanic for 37 years. His hobbies included metal work, auto mechanics, bowling and bass guitar. He is survived by his sisters, Louisa (Loriz) Hernandez, Isabel Cordova, Anna Hernandez, Maria Ortega, as well as his four children, Sonia M. Fry, Joe A. Hernandez, Hector G. Hernandez, Rosslyn M. Laliberte, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services are pending and will be scheduled at Lompoc's Evergreen Cemetery. .
