He was born August 5, 1954 to Annie and Juan Sandoval in Brighton, Colorado. He was the youngest of 13 children. He was married to Joan, the love of his life for 37 years.
John loved fishing, hunting and just being around people. He loved telling stories and reliving all the wonderful memories he had over his 65 years. Moving from Colorado was one of the hardest decisions he ever made, but the friendships and memories he made in Las Vegas were something he would never change. He was a loving and supportive husband and father, but the biggest joy of his life was his grandchildren. They could always bring him joy, even on the tough days and they are all he ever talked about. John was a jack of all trades and while he enjoyed things about each job he had over the years, being a bartender and being able to interact with so many different people and having the chance to talk to and make friends with so many was his favorite job of all. He was a stubborn man but had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone who needed him.
John is survived by his wife Joan, 4 kids: John, Stephanie, Andre, and Angela, and 8 Grandkids: Jayla, Sienna, Nicholas, Vanessa, Raheim, Cesar, Lyric, and Isiah.
