Johnny,we've known each other for 50 years.We had so much fun with all our friends at Barrington Lakes,where most of us lived.We've shared so many wonderful memories together that it makes me smile.I feel bad I never saw you in Vegas,but knowing you were happy out there was all that mattered.You called when I had covid and I talked to you when you  were first diagnosed.I never thought I'd lose my good friend so soon after.You will always have a warm place in my heart and will never be forgotten.Love you Johnny. I knew John from our Stone Ridge Condo and found him to be very much a kind man, enjoying life and proud of his Catholic faith.   We used to joke at our pool  and I will miss his wit and humor.  The first time we "chatted" he told me to throw away my pool towel (it was a Green Bay Packer towel) which I immediately replied "you must be a Chicago Bear fan as they don't have any mementos anyone wants to buy".   My sincere condolences to his family and many friends.  It was a pleasure to know John and I will miss him.

I met John through a mutual friend in the 80's at a bar (go figure) Over the years, we became friends, sharing lots of laughs and good times.  John was a good sport, willing to be my "date" for quite a few weddings. His involvement with Marklund Homes said a lot about his character.  Christmas Eve midnight masses with John and his mother ended with hours around the kitchen table...and lots of stories! Sadly, John & I lost touch with each other a number of years ago but the memories are all good!

My dear Johnny I remember our first meeting 4 years ago on that Friday night at Reggianos you and all “The Chicago Guys” that night went down into your repertoire of stories! I loved your kind   gentle Sprit . I’ll miss sharing meals with you and hearing your “Chicago Stories”! I’ll be thinking of you when my son starts dating you loved teasing me about that !  I still can’t believe you are gone and I’m so blessed to have had you in my life ❤️

Johnny was  an EXCEPTIONAL PERSON  !!!! He was a Great Story Teller ! He had a Big Heart ! He loved to Travel !He was a Good Practicing Catholic !He was so Proud to have been a Marine  !He would Help you at any given time and do any Research ! For the past 3 years he had many medical issues but he never Complained  ! The Marolda Family are Proud that Johnny was a Part of our lifes !Johnny was One Hell Of A Man  !!!  Johnny Will Be Sorely Missed   !!!!Ron,Frank,Ralph Marolda and Family .  

Johnny was a “Remarkable” Man of
“Great—Many” WORDS, who really liked TALKING to People. Johnny would TALK “Forever”...if you let Him. He would tell me the Funniest & most Interesting STORIES.  He would easily make Me LAUGH or put a SMILE on my Face :)

Johnny had a Big HEART who “Cared” very much for Me, Family, Friends, & Everyone He met. He wanted to HELP Everyone & was GENEROUS to Everyone with His Money, Time, & Efforts. Johnny was also LOVED by Many wonderful People. Johnny had a HEART of Gold. ❤️

Johnny was in the MARINE CORPS & went to WAR in Vietnam back-in-the-day; He was a TUFF Cookie!  He was a FIGHTER in WAR & a FIGHTER for His “Life, Family, & FRIEND’s”. Since the day I met Him 2 1/2-Years ago, He FAUGHT EveryDay with His HEALTH just to “Get-Up” every Morning; He looked so forward to “Talking or Seeing” His Family & Friends. Johnny was a “TUFF” Cookie; Johnny was a Cookie-Monster, who really liked Cookies & SWEETS; He was a SWEET” & KIND Friend.

Johnny & I had lots of “FUN” TRAVELING last Year: Florida; Virgin Islands; California [San Francisco, Wine Country, Santa Rosa (his sister), San Diego (my Sister), & Long Beach], Mexico [Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, & Puerto Vallarta],; & Europe [Spain, France, & Italy].
Johnny & I had Amazing TRIPS; He knew how to “Enjoy” LIFE & “Share” the FUN!

Johnny was a Catholic...a Believe in JESUS CHRIST as His Savior. Johnny CARED about People & use-to give -out the “Eucharist“ to the People who were ill in Summerlin HOSPITAL . We had lots in Common; the most important thing We had in Common was that He “Believed” in JESUS CHRIST as His Savior; We talked about the BIBLE & other Scriptures & Artifacts that have been Discovered. Johnny believed in GOOD People, & I believe that People can do GOOD Deeds; well, Johnny did “Many GOOD Deeds; He had a Big HEART of Gold! ❤️

I PRAY & Thank GOD for allowing Johnny to be a “part” of My LIFE. I am going to “MISS” You Johnny. MEMORIES of You will LIVE with Me Forever! 🙏

I meant John through Kathy Wolter Mondelli I instantly knew he was a very good man. He had an absolutely beautiful smile that said hello even before he said a word he was always very welcoming and always had something kind to say. A very soft-spoken man with a very big heart. I know he's in a better place and no longer suffering and await the time until I see him again to give him a great big hug.

The first time I met John Marrón I new he was a good person with an Great  heart. He was always smiling and would always care for others.  He was a great friend and he will always have a part in my heart. 

Love you Johnny so much you light up the room every time you walk into one. Your stories kept me going all summer and you got me through the struggle of this summer and this year I couldn’t of done it without you , John, and my dad! I think about you every day and wish you were here there was still so much to learn from you but I will carry your lessons around with me for the rest of my life. Love you so much you’re family to my dad and I forever.

I have fond memories of John from our younger years at Barrington Lakes. He was a great guy, and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family. 

Johnny,we go back 50 years. You were at my wedding with all our Barrington Lakes friends. Your smile was infectious and your out going personality had all of in stitches! We both loved Barry White and had so much fun singing his songs.I will miss you my dear friend.Sending a big hug,Jo❤

I have so many happy memories of John-from carefree days at Barrington Lakes to laughing while playing golf to a great visit  in Las Vegas.  He was a true friend and such a thoughtful person. I could go on and on with stories about him. I’ll miss our Little Johnny M. Sympathy to the family.

Your brother was my godfather.  My memories of him were of a fun, handsome, smart and mischievous young man who brought life to every room he entered.  I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

What a great guy, I am thankful to have been able to wish John a happy 75th birthday and reminisce about the great times we enjoyed at PM Motors with John and  Dick Maher (my dad), as John would always say, “you can’t make this stuff up.” I will forever cherish those conversations with John.  Gone Too Soon, Rest In Peace .
