To the family,I was saddened to hear about John .we were good friends.we both attended grusel Jr high school.and was mate looking at pictures I see he still had that smile as always my brother missing you. Hello Sarah and Billy.antonio Butler.northeastern high school



Something, somehow lead me to Johnny's obituary and memorial page tonight and I am devastated to just find that he is no longer with us and has been gone now for 3 1/2 years.  Johnny and I met at UNLV in 1987 and had the same big brother as pledges for the same fraternity.  Neither of us were "big" into the 'Frat-Life', it was just something else fun to do and we both had fun doing it together.  My condolences to the entire Hearns family.  Together, you raised one of the classiest people I have even known.    

Cant believe its been over year since your passing. I think you would be very proud of where Im at in life. Crazy to think Im turning 20 next month, seemed like just the other day I was a young kid. Im about to get my 2 year degree in hospitality management and then get my 4 year degree shortly after. Not only do I have a genuine interest in the field, but I saw just how successful that industry can be for someone because you were a living example. Youll never realize how big of an impact you had on me by shaping me into the young man Im becoming. I wish I couldve told you that while you were still here, but I know you are watching down on us. I havent see your son and my best friend since your funeral. Part of me feels guilty, but at the same time I know Josh needed time to grieve. I promise to visit him within the next upcoming months because I know you would want me to. 

A little over a year now since you passed.....it simply doesn't seem real.  I know you hear my prayers  because The Lord tells you all I say.  I talk to your sweet mom often, and Jonathan as well...and hope to one day see them soon.  I can't wait to see you again too, in Heaven one day, but until that day... I love & miss you  kisses to Heaven to you xoxo

We just discovered this news. John was so colorful and caring.  When he came bouncing in here after a workout, apologizing for his appearance we laughed at him because he always looked so sharp no matter what.  We will miss him dearly!  Amber Aiello & Kathy Flasher, State Farm agency.

I just found out about John, and my heart is so heavy.  I met John at the Rio, he was always so sweet.  He was kind, funny, and such a sharp dresser.  He always smiled, now he is smiling from Heaven.  RIP John you will be missed. My condolences to the family, John was an all around beautiful Soul.

John was a classy, caring and charismatic friend. We shared some good times and I am extremely saddened by his passing. My life will forever be enriched knowing we were friends. My condolences to the family.

The memories I have is us all on Helen/Medbury behind our homes in the parking lot playing baseball, kickball, etc. It's been many years since I have seen you but our childhood will always be priceless. May God bring peace to you all and love you all.

As I like this candle, I know from personal experience of losing a loved one. They're human body has left this Earth, but their Spirit lives on forever inside of us. From the site of a beautiful flower to the song of a bird and the sun glistening on the ocean,  his presence will appear before us.
Thank you Heavenly Father for letting John come to Earth. And with him he brought your compassion and love and was a wonderful servant. I can hear our heavenly father say to John "a job well done my son." ♥

When I worked with him years ago at the Mirage he always had a great smile & hand shake for me, if you were down his smile would lift you up such a nice young man. My heart is broken at this news.  I'm truly sorry to the Hearns family for your tremendous loss. If anyone has ever embodied the word "class" it is you John. From the way you carried and conducted yourself to the way you would engage with people - it was always with class, respect, dignity, style and most of all - love. 

You have been one of my closest friends for 14 years and I cherish every minute we had. Be it at work, on the golf course, on a cruise or at a concert - you always made it fun no matter what. I am a better person because of you. I will miss you terribly, but take solace in the fact that you are no longer in pain and we will absolutely meet again. 

Thank you for being my friend, my confidant and more importantly, my brother. I love you my man. Rest easy now. Your long and hard fought fight is over. I promise that you will never ever be forgotten by me, my family and anyone who I come in contact with.

To my extended family, the news of John's death filled my heart with sadness.
