Jesse Otto Christian

Jesse Otto Christian passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018 at the age of 74. Jesse was born January 1, 1944 in Texas and had been a resident of Nevada since 1990. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Jesse enjoyed working on cars, collecting, cooking, fishing, boating, watching sports, and VFW Searchlight. Jesse’s bright smile will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamine and Juanita Christian; brother, Bo Christian; and sister, Linda Christian. Jesse leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Alberta Christian; 2 daughters, Rebecca (Todd) Lines; Cheri (Joe) Galhandro; 5 grandchildren, Justin (Brooke) Galhandro, Sierra (Matt) Wicklund, Shaun Lines, Cleiton Lines, and Elizabeth (Geoff) Williams; 9 great-grandchildren, Jayden Galhandro, Jaxson Galhandro, Ian Wicklund, Greyson Lines, Ian Lines, Liam Lines, Madilynn Williams, Hudson Williams, Mya Williams; brother, Gene Christian; his sister, Irene Brown and extended family members and friends. A visitation will be Sunday, May 6th from 5-7pm and Monday, May 7th at 11:00am the funeral service. Both will be at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146 and the burial to follow at 1:20pm, Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
