James Eddie Williams

James Eddie Williams "Butch" was born on November 16th 1954 in North Carolina to James and Marrietta Williams. It was so obvious James would be different, so at 2 years old his grandmother gave him the nickname Butch, a nickname he would honor for the rest of his life. Butch was always strong mentally and physically, with the heart of a natural born leader. One thing about Butch, is he was an Alpha. Butch lived an exciting life, filled with playing and betting on sports. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but most of all, Butch's love for music and singing was what stood out the most about him. In his younger days he was a handful, he had some of the best stories you could possibly hear from one person. None the less Butch understood the importance of family. He prided himself on moral values, important values that he learned from his father. Butch was simply a different breed. In 2019 not only did he get engaged with Jasmine Morton, but she also stood with him as he decided to give his life to God, before his time ended. Butch will always be remembered by his family, friends and anyone who got to know him.
