James McGinnis 77, passed away July 16, 2014. He was a 50 year resident of Las Vegas and was a retired Bar Manager. James was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 27, 1936 to Mary and Hector McGinnis. James was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Sharon (Sadler) McGinnis, Sisters Rose (Pat) Pulizzi, Peggy (Lonnie) Smith, Betty (Irv) Floress, and Catherine Hough; brothers Dugan (Audre) McGinnis and John (Carol) McGinnis. James is survived by sons Kevin McGinnis, Michael (Fredy) McGinnis, daughter Kathryn (Robert) Rogers, grandsons Kevin Winne, Matthew Rogers, and James McGinnis and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1pm, Palm Mortuary – Downtown, 1325 N Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Downtown Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
