Jake Freeman, who was cherished by so many, passed away on December 31st, 2023. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, godson, uncle, friend, fellow police officer, and former Marine. Jake will be missed by all who came to know him as a vibrant, jovial, dedicated man who was passionate about his family, friends, and career. He was the bright light that could light up any room with his smile and joking manner. Jake made a lasting impact on all who met him.
Jake served his country proudly as a United States Marine, as well as serving his city as a dedicated police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police department – currently assigned to the Summerlin Area Command Flex team. Jake was a senior officer on the squad and trained many of his squad mates to become competent additions to the squad.
He is survived by his mother Beth, Dave, father Kelly, Kari, younger sister Kelsey, Stepbrothers Stefan & Kyle, Stepsister Mandy, Aunt Jean & Uncle Scott, Uncle Nels & Aunt Denise, Uncle Brad & Aunt Tammy, Uncle Gary & Aunt Cynthia, Aunt Shelly & Uncle Steven, Uncle Michael, Grandparents Russ & Roz, nephews, and numerous cousins.
Words will never be able to describe how much Jake will be missed. The world is a far better place for having had him in it.

A memorial service for Jake will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
