Jack Rader, 85, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 1, 2010. He was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Cora, Ill., and was a 51-year resident of Nevada. Jack served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was retired from the Nevada Test Site. He coached two decades in little league baseball. Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Stewart; and son, Mark Rader. Jack is survived by his sons, John, Jack, Thomas and Michael Rader. He is grandfather to 16 grandchildren; and also had 21 great grandchildren at the time of his passing. He loved his family dearly and always put them first throughout his life. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Funeral services at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City.
