Harold Katz, 90, a retired retail salesman, passed away on Thursday, November 13 2014. He was bornon January 20, 1924 in New Britain, CT to Louis and Mollie Katz and was a Southern Nevada resident since 1994. He is preceded in death by Selma, his beloved wife of 54 years and survived by his son, Stuart Katz of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Sharon (Ray) Gordon of Henderson, NV; five grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Gordon, Scott (Natalie) Gordon, Amanda (Tracy) Buckler, Jennifer (Tom) Cherry, and Christopher Katz; seven great-grandchildren, Jason, Kaitlin, Reese, Logan, Evan, Sara, and Gregory; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Monday, November 17, 2014 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
