Gregory Lee Roth turned a new chapter in his journey through life and left this world on January 4, 2015 in his truest center of tranquility-- the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas, Nevada. For Gregory, his journey started in the city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania on February 6, 1954 where he grew up in a large family centered in a little town. Quick into finding his true calling, at a young age he consumed his life in athletics. With focus, determination, and hard work Gregory succeeded in football and shined brightly as quarterback for JP McCaskey High School. His natural talent was noticed and he was scouted to play for Penn State University which later led him to a career in the NFL. There, he continued as quarterback for the Washington Red Skins. After an injury that rendered football too dangerous for Gregory to continue playing, he embarked on a personal soul search in where he sought out to find a new outlet and release for his ever-prominent ambitions and yearning to excel. In a manifest destiny of his own accord, he drove across the country and discovered home in California. Through the years he delved into the automobile industry, worked his way up the ranks of corporate America, and made sure he could create the life he always wanted. Gregory was never one to hide amongst the crowds, he was a man of presence and was born with the special gift of captivation. He always brought energy with him wherever he went and it never went unnoticed. Gregory was everybody's friend, and was always making sure to touch the lives of those around him. He was loved, and he loved back twice as hard. He was cared about, and cared right back twice as much. He was survived by the love of his life, Anna Roth and his three sons Charlie Roth, Gregory Jr. Roth, and Dalton Roth. But regardless of those he left behind, his presence, and his energy will continue to live on in all of the friends and family who he made an impact on. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, on January 24, 2015 to celebrate the life of a great father, a great husband, and an all around great man. Arrangements under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
