Gerri Braun

Gerri Strauss’ sunrise was on the Twenty Seventh day of July, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty Two in Rochester NY. Gerri later met and married Saul Braun and started their family; daughter Sharleine Morrison and son Jeff Braun. She later relocated to Nevada in 1980 and quickly became a socialite with her fashion style and social activism in the Las Vegas area. Gerri was an accomplished artist, a member of B’nai Brith Women, Art Guild of Las Vegas, and Temple Beth Sholom Sisterhood. Gerri, as only she could, lit up a room with her style, presence and charisma. She was loved by her family and adored by her friends. Gerri’s sunset was on the Twentieth day of May, Two Thousand and Fourteen. Gerri Braun was a loving wife to Saully Braun, who preceded her in death, mother, grandmother & bobe. She is survived by her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, family and friends.The Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 3:00pm at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E.
