Georgie Lee Hughes, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away on November 27, 2014. She was born on January 5, 1950, in Nogales, Arizona, to George and Vonnie Rector. She resided in Las Vegas for fifty years and was retired from the Centel Telephone Co. Georgie was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She is survived by sons, Steven and Douglas Hughes; brother and sister, Steven Murphy and Paula Moore; and granddaughter, Dezarae Turner. Georgie was a compassionate and loyal friend. She will be dearly missed by everyone including her dog, Punkin and cat, Muffin. She will remain in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 3 at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
