Georgia Walters, 67, of Henderson, passed away July 17, 2011, after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born in San Francisco, July 25, 1943, and moved to Las Vegas at 3-months old, where she grew up, lived and worked her entire life. She was a life-long professional hairdresser in the Las Vegas area, while raising three children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Mosca; and son, Louis Walters. She is survived by her daughter, Chevelle Jensen; daughter and son-in-law, Caprice and Darwyn Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Marie Mosca; granddaughters, Ashley Jensen and Taylor Bull; along with Taylor's father, Rob Bull. She also leaves behind three loving dogs that she cared for relentlessly, Bear, Hazel and Samantha. The family offers its sincere gratitude to Dr. Badar Anwar for the devoted care he provided to Georgia over the years and to the entire nursing staff of the second floor of St. Rose Hospital, Sienna Campus. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
