Elizabeth Mae Braner

Elizabeth Mae Braner, 90, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, February 2, 2014. She was born June 15, 1923 in Jacksonville, Illinois to her parents Lewis E. Davis and Ida Mae Baker. Elizabeth married Robert P. Braner, Sr. on Oct 4, 1942, they were married for 59 years. Due to military service, they traveled extensively until Robert retired after being stationed at Nellis AFB. Liz was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; whom dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed being active in her church, teaching Sunday school, serving on the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League), and the Alter Guild. Liz was preceded in death by parents, husband, and two children Bonnie and Robert, Jr. She is survived by her four children: Vicki (Gerald), Terry (Renee), Dawn (Richard), and Becky (Art); nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one brother Percy. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM, Mon. Feb. 10, 2014. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM both at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 301 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. Burial will be private at Palm Northwest Memorial Park in Las Vegas, Nevada.
