Elena Elena Maricondo Hayes Elizabeth Hayes

She was born February 13 1910 to Rocco and Assunta Maricondo in Brooklyn N.Y.

A long time resident of Las Vegas she took great joy in cooking for her grandchildren, crocheting and an occasional trip to play the nickel slots.

Her secret to life was simple, a smile and a glass of red wine

Her spirit and grace were eternal and she will be deeply missed

Dolly (as she was known to her family) was preceded in death by her Husband Edward Hayes, parents Rocco and Assunta Maricondo sister Angelina Ceonzo

Brothers Gennaro Maricondo, Luigi Maricondo, Paolo Maricondo, Rocco Maricondo Silvestri Maricondo and Son in law Jay DeRiso

She is survived by her beloved daughter SueEllen DeRiso, brother Emil Maricondo (sue). Grandchildren Marie-Elena Sligar, Frank DeRiso, Michael DeRiso(liz), Keith DeRiso(lisa) great grandchildren Anthony Sligar(angela)Bryan Sligar , Andrew Sligar(sarah), Chance DeRiso , Hana DeRiso great great grandchildren Austin Sligar, Alaina Sligar , Bryson Sligar, as well as many family friends and loved ones

Visitation will be Friday Feb 1, from 3pm -7pm at Palm Mortuary 7600 Eastern Ave. Church services will be Saturday Feb 2 ,10 am at St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas with interment following in Palm Eastern Cemetery.
