Eileen Marie Huffine, 75, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 24, 1948, in Norfolk, Nebraska, Eileen eventually made Las Vegas, Nevada, her cherished home, where she spent the majority of her life.

Eileen dedicated her career as an administrative assistant with the Clark County School District, where she was known for her tireless work ethic, warmth, and meticulous attention to detail. Her colleagues admired her unwavering commitment to her work, and her legacy continues to resonate within the school community she served.

In her free time, Eileen found great joy in solving puzzles and creating intricate LEGO masterpieces, hobbies that showcased her creativity, patience, and love for mental challenges. Each completed puzzle and LEGO project reflected her dedication and artistic spirit, bringing joy not only to her but also to those around her.

Eileen will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering loyalty to family and friends, and her gentle yet enduring spirit. She had a unique ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her love for life’s simple pleasures, whether it was enjoying a sunny afternoon or sharing a meal with loved ones, enriched the lives of those around her.

Eileen is survived by her beloved family, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and love. Her friends and all who knew her will miss her dearly, but they will forever cherish the memories shared with her, finding comfort in the stories and laughter that will continue to be told in her honor.

A viewing will be held at Palm Northwest, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, on Thursday, October 17, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, 7260 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117, on Friday, October 18, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at 1:00 PM.

Eileen will be laid to rest in the Garden of Freedom.
