Dorothy Anthony, 87, of Las Vegas, NV, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at Desert Springs Senior Living. Born September 10, 1927, in Pilot Grove, MO. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Wallje and Edna Pardoe Wallje. She was a graduate of Pilot Grove High School and attended business college. She was employed by government contractors for 37 years, working as a secretary/financial assistant. Dorothy was the widow of Eugene Edward Anthony. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Gehner and husband Phil Gehner of Las Vegas, and a son, Larry Anthony, of Las Vegas; six grandchildren: Chris Saulys and husband Tom of Sparta, NJ, John Gehner of Las Vegas, and Michael Gehner and wife Pamela, of Las Vegas, Michelle Anthony, Jessica Anthony, and Mark Anthony all of Las Vegas; six great grandchildren: Morgan, Evan, and Aralyn Saulys, Darrian, Zachary, and Jarrett Gehner; and one great-great grandchild: Ayden Anthony, one sister; Esther Hackmann of rural Fayette, MO; and several neices and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son: Robert Anthony, and a sister: Frances Wittman.
