Donna Marie Henry, 54, born in New York, but a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada; passed away and has gone to a better place on May 17, 2017. She was born July 25, 1962 to Jerald and Jean Ceraso. She had two siblings, brother Douglas and sister Denise. Donna, as everyone knows, was many things to many people. She had more love, forgiveness and ENERGY than all of us combined. She had the ability to work two jobs and still find time every day to do something for someone else. She was the most wonderful mother to Bryan and Nicole. She was proud of every move they made and made sure to share that love and proudness with everyone she met. She had many types of family from people she worked with for almost 30 years at the Rivera Hotel, to her new jobs at Egg Works and Harrah’s Hotel. Everyone that came into contact with Donna knew she was something special. She had an incredible person that made her happier than she had been in a long time, Layne Holm; she loved him dearly along with his two beautiful granddaughters Harlee and Scarlett. Donna loved social events, jazzercise, hosting get-togethers and she was always the life of the party. She in recent times became a Nonnie, and if you had talked to her in the last two years you would have known of her pride and joy, granddaughter Blayke Taylor. She is now an angel above us always watching and guiding each of us to be something better than we were the day before and helping us to see what is truly important in life. There are not enough words to describe the woman she is and was, she is in a peaceful place now smiling and laughing because that was her favorite thing to do with everyone. She is survived by fiancé Layne Holm; son Bryan Henry; daughter Nicole Henry; and granddaughter Blayke Taylor Henry. Donations are not necessary, but if you would like to donate anything please contact Palm Eastern or Bryan Henry. A Memory of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday June 3rd, 2017 at Palm Eastern Mortuary.
