Donald Don Lee Michael III

Donald Michael was born on January 23, 1988 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. His parents are Don and Laura Michael. Donald was raised in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada. Donald was raised with two siblings. He has a younger brother Eric and a younger sister Christina, who he loves dearly and of whom he will always be so proud. Donald graduated from Mojave High School in 2006. He enjoyed some courses more than others. His favorite class in high school was marching band under the instruction of Mr. Marentic. Donald's talent for being a down to earth thinker allowed many around him to see Donald as an excellent problem solver. He was proud to have become the Restaurant General Manager of a local Pizza Hut with whom he had been employed for nearly five years. Donald enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were playing video games and spending time on the firing range. Donald was content to enjoy his hobbies alone but was also willing to share his interests with others. Donald was a lover of animals and cherished his pets, enjoying them almost as much as he enjoyed being around other people. Donald really loved his cat Camie and came to cherish her kitten Franzie, who became the family pet. He was also renowned for tolerating lovingly the family dog Lucy. Donald passed away on July 18, 2013 at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents Don Jr and Laura Michael; his brother Eric and his sister Christina; his paternal grandparents Don Sr and Gail Michael and his maternal grandmother Ellen Hape. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada. Donald was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Cemetery Las Vegas, Nevada.
