Debbie Rhodes, 54, a revered Interior Designer in the Las Vegas Valley, passed away in her bed on June 14th, 2016 after battling, Lymes disease, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, nerve neuropathy and hearing loss.
She is survived by the love of her two boys, two siblings, mother, and with the support of her former husband, to whom she had been married for 12 years.
She was born August 15th, 1961 in New York to Leon and Sandra Parness. She and her family moved to Las Vegas in 1976. She married an up and coming real estate developer at the time named Jim Rhodes and on June 8th, 1989 they had their first beautiful son Michael Rhodes that they cherished passionately. Jim and Debbie had two passions at this time, their little boy and home building, a passion they instilled in their first boy before he could walk. Jim and Debbie had given birth to their second beautiful boy on July 22nd, 1995, Ryan Rocky Rhodes, and he too was passionately loved and adored by the loving couple.
Debbie was educated at the Lycee Francais French School in New York from K-8th and Chaparral High School. Debbie later earned a degree at the Interior Design institute of Las Vegas.
Debbie loved home decorating for her beloved home builder husband but loved her two boys infinitely more. She had many friends in Las Vegas and threw parties that will be remembered for a life time.
Funeral Service will be held at Palm Eastern at 12noon Saturday the 18th of June.
