On April 15 2016, David Leroy Bennett passed away in Las Vegas, NV. He was a resident of Las Vegas for 26 years. He was also a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa on September 7th, 1949 to Clyde Richard Bennett and Roberta Naomi Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde, Roberta, brothers Bud, Roger, Milton and sisters Jeanette and Idel. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Marion, daughters Rhonda (Eric) Ishpeming, Elizabeth (Michael) Las Vegas, son Jesse (Alex) Las Vegas. Grandchildren Neal (Tia), Derek (Shawn), Cassidee (Casey), Dante, Raven, Xander, Evangeline, Michael, Sterling and baby Kuhn. Great grandchild Serena Garman (Neal). Brother Rolland (Marion) MN, Charlotte (Bob) FL, Lola NC. Numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be held on April 29th at Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, located at 7885 W. Robindale Rd. 89113 at 11-12 service with a luncheon to follow. Veteran’s memorial placement of cremains will be held on May 12 at 2 p.m. in Southern NV. Veterans Memorial cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005.
