Darla Jeanne Garrett

Darla was born to Jeanne R. Hoover and John Gallagher on November 13, 1945, in Columbus, OH. She moved to Las Vegas in 1988. She worked at The Mirage as a PBX operator from the time it opened in 1989, until she retired in 2010.

Her mother and father, her sister (Rebecca Bagley), her loving grandparents (Elizabeth “Bessie” Hoover and Charles Stanley Hoover, of Springfield, OH, her two uncles (Thomas Hoover and Richard Hoover, both of Springfield, OH) preceded Darla in death.

A loving daughter, sister, and mother, Darla is survived by her children, Michael Kelly Doyle, Chrisopher Brian Doyle, and Katherine (Katy) Leonard (all of Las Vegas, NV), her step-father, Alfred M. Plesse, her sister, Deborah Krum, and several dearly-loved grandchildren, all currently residing in Las Vegas, NV. Her family and all of her dear friends will sorely miss her.
