Daniel James Varian, II, age 30, a lifelong Las Vegas resident, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Las Vegas. Born September 18, 1983, he was manager at Capriotti's in Southern Highlands. Daniel was the ultimate New York Yankee's fan, even traveling to New York to see a game at the original stadium. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Varian. Survivors include his mother Roxanne Mantico, brother Steven Lancaster and sisters Charlene Varian (fiancee Chris Codd) and Danielle Varian; nephews J.T.$, Christopher, Nicholas, Jackson and Brenden and his Beagel, Jeter. Funeral service will be held at 6pm on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones where family will receive friends from 3-6pm. Burial will be private.
