Dana Frances Allen

Dana Frances Allen passed away peacefully with her husband and son at her side on 4/23/21, losing her long battle with illness. She fought stoically with all of her heart, but her body could no longer sustain the battle. She goes gracefully with our love into the hands of our Lord.

Dana lived many years around the country in Pennsylvania, California, Connecticut, North Carolina, and Nevada in her childhood and over a 38 year life adventure at the side of her husband and soulmate Tony. She loved doing any type of crafts, especially crocheting, and gardening at our homes over the years. Dana also was an avid reader of books, having read hundreds of books.

She loved spending time with her family most of all though. She loved her son Dan and his wife Katie dearly, with granddaughters Carlee and Brooklyn that she was so proud of and adored. She was especially proud of the newest light in the family, great granddaughter Emmy; daughter of Carlee and Brian. She loved being a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother giving all of her heart to those roles, and will be an Angel at their sides now. She will be dearly missed by all, but always remembered and loved forever.

She loved and is survived by her husband Dale Allen; Son Daniel Neenan and his wife Katie; Granddaughters Carlee Neenan, Brooklyn Neenan; Great-granddaughter Emersyn Cochran; Brothers and Sisters Bob Jones (Nancy), Patti Fox, Steve Jones (Wendy and Anna), Don Jones (Cara), Larry Jones (Kathy), Janet Jones, Shirley Sogluizzo (Mike), Nancy Marsden, Billie Bueler (John), Janet Griffen (Marshall), Scott and Jaime Allen, Jill Allen, Paula and Gary Grabin, Amy Allen Williams, Jane Popick, Didi Jones, Lisa McIntosh; Step-father Wayne McIntosh; Step-mother Rheta Allen, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and their families. Also, her devoted cat companion Lilly Frances.

She loved and was preceded in death by her father Robert Jones; Mother Maryella Jones / McIntosh; Brothers David Jones, Tom Jones, Rick Jones & Bruce McIntosh; Stepmother Cathy Jones/Yeager; Father in law Eugene Allen; Mother in law Marilyn Allen; and Brother in law Jim Allen.
