Clinton Andrew Doherty Jr.

Clinton A. Doherty Jr., passed away March 28, 2022 in Las Vegas. He was born June 26,1929 in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was a Radar Repairman in the U.S. Air Force from 1946-1949. He graduated from Western Washington University in 1953.

He moved to Southern California about 1955 and was employed by Los Angeles County for 28 years. He was a Supervising Social Worker, Supervising Fraud Investigator and retired as a Deputy Probation Officer: concurrently he was a Licensed Private Investigator in the Southern California area.

In January of 1993 he retired to Las Vegas to pursue his hobbies of playing The races(horses) and traveling. He visited 49 of the 50 States (including Hawaii and Alaska). Also the Following Territories, Islands and Countries: Canada, Mexico, Panama, Aruba, Peru, Willemstad, Curacao, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Antigua, The Virgin Islands Nicaragua, Guatemala, Narita, Japan, Philippines, Ireland, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Cyprus, Turkey, Egypt, Israel and The Holy Land (Palestine). In addition: Italy, The Vatican City, Monaco, Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Scotland, Belgium, France And United Kingdom. Also Holland, Denmark, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Germany.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of Las Vegas, sister Betty of Hillsboro, Oregon, Daugthters Fran, Pat, Yvette of Neah Bay,Washington, Gina of Arizona , Jenni Lee of Texas, Grandchildrens, Great-Grandchildrens and Great-Great Grandchildrens.

A memorial service for Clinton will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
