Clifford Ambida Cardenas was born on June 10, 1956 in Honolulu, HI to Felix Q and Elena A Cardenas. On August 12, 2021 Clifford moved to Heaven. He was surrounded by his wife of 42 years, daughters, and son-in-law in Las Vegas, NV.
Cliff had a servant’s heart and his greatest joy was helping others. He will be remembered for how he loved and cared for his family and for the time and talent he so freely gave to others. Whenever you saw Cliff, you were always greeted with a big, friendly smile.
Cliff retired from the Army National Guard in 2012 having served 22 years. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism for which he received multiple commendation, achievement, and conduct medals.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, father and brother Edwin. He is survived by his loving wife, Delana Cardenas, beautiful daughters Heather Okimoto and Ashlee Esteban, sons-in-law Dean Okimoto and Jeremy Esteban, grandchildren Olivia, Levi, and Luke whom he loved so very much, brothers Felix and Rodney, sister Brenda Abero, 6 nieces and 7 nephews.
Clifford will be interned at a later date in Hawaii.
