Christopher Brian Jordan

On Wednesday October 28, 2020, Christopher Brian Jordan, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 47. Chris was born on December 30, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri to Larry and Cecilia Jordan. He received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He worked as a sales representative in the Las Vegas HVAC industry for approximately 30 years and for the past 8 years, he and his partner Erik Lopez have owned and operated Mechanical Equipment Reps. He married Amy Truster on August 15, 1997 and they raised one daughter, Izabella Cate Jordan.

In Chris’ free time, he enjoyed travelling with his family, watching live sports, and spending time with his loved ones. He had a passion for his business and worked aggressively to make it successful. He was an intellectually focused man with a love for reading and collecting sports memorabilia.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence, and an infant son, Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Amy, his daughter, Izabella, and his mother, Cece.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 12-2 pm at Willow Creek Community Association, 2875 Golden Willow Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89135. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Chris’ honor to Butler University, his daughter’s school, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a foundation supported by his daughter’s sorority.
