Christine Helen Whaley, 93, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. She was born August 7, 1925 to John Porter and Sara Parris in Longview, Washington. She was a resident of Las Vegas for 29 years and prior to that she worked and raised her family in Boulder, Colorado, residing there for 28 years.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 66 years, Robert, her sisters, Estelle Robinson & Virginia Krug and her brother, John Porter Parris. She is survived by 3 children; Mark & his wife Donna, Kurt & and his wife Linda and Judy Chambers (also a Las Vegas resident), 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Christine gave her life to her family and will be greatly missed by each of them. A Celebration of Life of her life will be held at the Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123 at 11 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
