Christine Elaine Szymczak

Christine Elaine Szymczak, age 67, born and raised in Buffalo, New York, passed peacefully in her retirement home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daughter to Benjamin and Irene Kutas; beloved wife of Michael Szymczak; mother of Melissa, Melanie (Kevin Rogowski) and Cheryl; sister of Robert Kutas, Donna Stachewicz and Michelle Murphy and grandma of Lylah Sayge Walker.

Christine had many achievements and was highly active during her high school years. She later went on to attend the University of Buffalo and went on to achieve a Master's degree in English Literature. Christine was an accomplished professor at ECC, North and City Campus.

Christine lived her life to the fullest and loved to travel across the country with her husband, Michael and baby girl, Kaleesi (cat). She spent her summers at Arrowhead Campground and enjoyed many nights dancing with friends and family. Christine was also a lover of music and art.

There will be a Mass service and a Celebration of Life (which will be determined shortly). Loved ones and close friends will be notified as soon as we have more details.

Christine will always be remembered as a loving wife, incredible mother, proud daughter and happy grandmother.
