Christine Elizabeth Moore

Christine Elizabeth Moore (née Carroll), 58, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chris is survived by her sons, Payton Moore and Garrett Moore (Paige), and her parents, Ellouise Carroll and Glen Carroll. She is predeceased by her sister, Rachel Cook, whom she missed dearly.

Chris worked for Clark County School District (CCSD) for 13 years as a substitute teacher and a front office aide. Over her years as a substitute teacher, she had the pleasure of long-term subbing for her son Garrett’s class twice. She always enjoyed working with kids both in and out of the classroom.

Chris loved animals almost as much as she loved her children - she had two dogs and three chickens (and previously a rabbit, two chameleons, a bearded dragon, and a tank full of exotic fish)! You could always find Chris engulfed in a creative project; she loved drawing, painting, creating mosaics, and baking.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, followed by a reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

If you would like to bring flowers, Stargazer Lilies were Chris’ favorite.
