Cheree DeMille Franck, 77, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, Aug. 7, 2011. She was born Nov. 16, 1933, in Salt Lake City, to Roachie and Gladys DeMille. The family moved to Las Vegas when she was a child. She mostly worked as a homemaker, but also worked many years as a dental assistant, front office receptionist and personnel/insurance administrator (Sands Hotel). She served a work mission in the LDS church employment office. Cheree was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira DeMille and Rickard "Tex" DeMille. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Franck of California; children, Sharee (Jeff) Williams, Kenneth Trent, Terry (Brenda) Trent; grandchildren, Scott Williams, Dana (Brent) Neel, Lindsey (Sean) Crowley, Terrah Trent and Corey Trent; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Neel and Nolan Neel, all of Las Vegas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, with a brief viewing beginning at 10 a.m., both at the LDS Chapel, 9270 S. Maryland Parkway (at Serene). Burial immediately following.
