We celebrate the life of Carol Ohryn, daughter of George and Gertrude Young, wife of Dennis (pre-deceased), father of Tracey, Terri and Michelle, grandmother of Jacqueline, Nicole, Patrick and Thomas, and great-grandmother of Kolton, Emma, Annabel and Maverick. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Carol lived in Detroit, Michigan, Boston, Massachusetts, San Francisco, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Carol was a homemaker who raised her children alongside her husband Dennis, enjoying a marriage of more than 50 years. A passionate traveler, Carol enjoyed a lifetime of adventure with Dennis, traveling throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
In recent years, Carol was a resident of Legacy House of Southern Hills, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she enjoyed many friendships among the residents and staff, notably including Clewell Smith.
The family plans to celebrate her life privately, according to her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the University of Southern California Medical Center Hepatobiliary, Pancreas and Abdominal Transplant Fund. Her family is forever grateful for the care that they provided to Carol while she was under their care.
