I loved uncle Bobby with all my heart I will never forget when you came all the way out from Vegas to wickliffe Ohio to watch me play football.  You showed me how to be a leader, to love one another,  and to be kind to others. You always kept the family together and I’m so blessed to have so many memories with you.  I can’t wait to raise my family years down the road and tell them stories about how much of a great uncle you are.❤️

I was a promotor for Cincinnati,Ohio and i start booking them at the Club Mr. Kelley's once a month. Everyone loved them.  They called me MaMa PC or just PC. My mother loved to see bobby lee dance. I remember this day like it was yesterday. Carmen, Dominique & Bobby opened their home to family and friends. They truly made you feel like you were at home.  Over the years Bobby continued to be an inspiration to all that knew him. I will miss you on earth but look forward to seeing you in Heaven my friend.

I will never forget all the dances and dance-offs that Bobby and I had back in junior high school. No one perfected the robot like Bobby. He was a great friend to my brothers Rick and Chris and never failed to make me feel welcome when I visited Las Vegas. He was a friend you could always rely on for a kind word and his enormous smile.  My heart breaks for his family and friends. Heaven has  truly gained an Angel up above. Rest In Peace Bobby. You will be missed.

I know I have a photo of Bobby but I need to find it in my thousands of photos. Bobby interviewed me for my job at the Mirage and welcomed me to the Mirage family. Made me feel so at home and so welcome. Might not have been a big deal to him but it meant the world to me moving from a small town to a big city. Never did tell him how much I appreciated that. But that is just the type of guy Bobby was, a very caring and warm person. I really enjoyed his company and working with him. Such a funny guy. Loved the fact he loved his family so much. Such a proud father. We weren’t very close friends but I considered him as a friend. He wasn’t a big part of my life but I never will forget him. He was one of those types of people you don’t forget. 

To my dear friend Bobby here I was thinking I was the only person in Vegas to support and represent our hometown Cleveland until I met you. You was down with the Cleveland franchise no matter what! True Clevelander true man you were! Not one time did I ever feel like that third wheel when I was hanging out with you guys. swim party's ,birthday parties, old school parties ,and concerts I was right there with you and Carmen "turning up" thank you for always asking about D'vonte as we pass each other on the casino floor.  He is going to miss you truly as well. To my dear Carmen I'm so sorry for your lost my friend. Thank you for also allowing me and D'vonte into you guys lives. I swear you guys should be the poster children for "Marriage goals "because of how much you guys showed love for each other. To Dominic. I never had the opportunity to have a conversation with you but , I must state that your dad was a good guy and he loved you and your mom so much. My heart is so filled with sadness. I loved my cousin, Bobby, with all my heart. I will miss his call every May 11th to comfort me on the anniversary of my son’s death, on Mother’s Day and Christmas and other times. That’s the kind of man he was. 🙏❤️😢😇 We had such a wonderful time with him during Dominique’s wedding festivities.  Who knew that would be the last time we would be together. So This photo dated 1991 was my first pictorial introduction to Bob( pretty much always called u Bob not Bobby) but prior to the photo Carmen told me u looked like someone( name escapes me) and not only were u an athlete but a dancer( like I was). So right from the start there was that respect for the dancer connection .. but also that competition between us I guess lol! probably not many of the Vegas friends associates etc. knew that part of the story lol! The rest of the story there was no competition! You are an amazing husband and amazing father to Carmen and Dominique! Your career in Las Vegas is a testimony to what an amazing human being you were in the short time that you’re here on this earth! You will be missed!

was "Hay Pisan" always remembering our Sicilian heritage, the April
fools joke he played on me  and we both laughed at the outcome, the amazing friendship we shared with good friend John Hearns, a great host crew Gia,Dianne,Beverly, 
Always admiring the beautiful family you had in Carmen and 
Dominique. We often taked about how important family was, and 
I was happy when he meet my son Michael , Michael was devastated
when heard of his passing.

So very sorry to hear about Bobby’s passing. He was so full of life and happy on Tuesday night when we had dinner with him. We’ve known him since he was our host at the Mirage all the way to Aria. Kept in touch and Don played golf with him when we would come to Vegas. 
Such a tragic loss. My heart goes out to Carmen and Dominique.

I was just a youngster when Bobby Acevedo came into my life while I was working at The Mirage hotel many many moons ago.  I knew then there was something so special about this man and as I got to know him over the years I watched the unconditional love he had for his beautiful wife Carmen and his daughter Dominique.  His love was infectious with his family, friends and customers.  

When God saw Bobby I guarantee he told him, “it’s way too soon to be seeing you!”  Hearts all over Las Vegas and in the casino industry are broken tonight. 

From the fun cruises we went on together, to seeing all his jackpots (luckiest man ever) to his love and passion for all things Cleveland, his amazing house parties.  He was the best.

May God bless over your family and May you soar with the angels.  You were a pure angel down here on earth and all those who met you were the luckiest people.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. He was truly a wonderful, kind human being. I remember maybe 15 years ago he came to visit the old neighborhood in Willoughby where we all grew up together (I had not seen him in 20 years) and he just walked right into our house like time had never passed! What a wonderful surprise that was and the last time that I saw him as well :-(...

We golfed and shared stories. I was just in Vegas last week and meant to visit him at Palms while I was there. I’m so sorry I didn’t. My heart goes out to his family. He loved them dearly.
