Billy Ray Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada went to be the Lord on January 8, 2023. Bill was born in Kingsville, Texas on July 25, 1950 and is survived by wife of 33 years, Angie. He also has two children who he loved dearly, Charlotte and Stevie.
Bill was an Army veteran who served his country proudly as a radio operator in Vietnam. While serving in Vietnam, he received the Bronze Star for bravery when he helped save several of his fellow soldiers in combat. After serving in the Army, he worked as a district manager for Taco Bell followed by a job with General Dynamics in Turkey where he helped in the construction of F-16 fighter jets.
Bill loved Jesus and Angie and committed his life to serving them. He was a man of integrity, loyalty, and deep devotion to those he loved and his country. He was deeply loved by his church family at Spring Valley Baptist Church and he will be greatly missed.
