Bertha L. Simon, 80, a homemaker, and widow of Austin Simon, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at home. She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Louisiana. Bertha was also preceded in death by her parents; and three sons, Cornell and Douglas Cooper and Herbert Price. She is survived by her loving sons, Christopher, Marcus and Gregory Cooper, and Cedric and Kevin Price; brothers, Joshua and Billy Bursh; a sister, Theory Warren; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and countless friends. Viewing will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 4, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City.
