Bernard "Barney" Clark

Bernard Clark (Barney) passed away on January 15, 2015 at Infinity Hospice after complications of a heart illness. Barney was born on July 4, 1935 to Walter and Harriet Clark at St. Mary’s in Rochester, NY.

He was one of five children. HE enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, most outdoor activities and coin collecting. He met Edith, the love of his life when he was 19 at a square dance in Bristol, NY. Barney and Edith married in 1955 and together they had five children. They raised their family in Honeyoye Falls, NY where they enjoyed rural living. In 1976 , Barney and Edith moved to Rochester, NY to be closer to work and family. They moved to Las Vegas in August of 1999, arriving in their motor home where they lived for a couple of months. Barney and Edith still like to travel and sight see. Edith will miss their day trips. Barney loved the sunshine, playing with the grandkids and keeping an eye on Edith!

He is preceded in death by his daughter Peggy Lee Clark. Barney is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith, 1 daughter; Susan Effinger of Las Vegas, NV, 3 sons; Bernard C. Clark of Franklin, NC, David Richard Clark of Palmyra, NY and Carlton James Clark of Las Vegas, NV, six grandchildren; Paul Clark, Christie Stark of Las Vegas, Tristin and Dalton Clark or North Carolina, Danielle and Jason Clark of Lyons, NY. And five great grandchildren.
