Barry Wayne Edwards

Barry attended the public schools in Mashpee, MA, he enlisted in the Navy for 8 years. His profession was an Executive Chef, he worked at the Ambassador Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. He moved to Las Vegas to be a Chef at Fremont Hotel, Flamingo, Caesars and Hilton in Las Vegas. On October 12, 1985 Barry and Gwen were united in holy matrimony. Barry was a wonderful man that everybody loved.

Barry leaves to cherish his memory and rejoice in his homegoing a loving wife Gwen, Brother Irving, Sister in law Laveta, 8 nieces, Sheri, Colleen, Helen, Laveta, Barbara Jean, Beverly, Brookly, Shanell and 6 nephews James, Sean, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Irving, 1 uncle Chief Vernon Lopez, 1 aunt Catherine Copeland, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Barry had one sister that preceded him in death, Lynette.

A visitation for Barry will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at University United Methodist Church, 4412 S Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89119. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
