Barbara Jean Denis

Barbara Jean Denis, 68, a retired Network System Administrator, for the Culinary Union ABPA, peacefully departed on Thursday, November 1st, 2012. She was born August 28th, 1944, in Salida, Colorado and was a 50 year resident of Nevada. Barbara was a devoted Christian and faithfully served her church. As well, as serving the community through PAC and CCSD crossing guard.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Sotero Denis, four sons, Gene and Terry Tipton and Reginald and Gilford Denis, two daughters, Sally Swan and Marian Denis, three sisters, Jackie Ramer, Ellean Feathers, Rita Brown, a brother, Jack Werner Jr., four grand children, Jeff, Clarissa, Olivia and Kaitlin Tipton.

Barbara was a caring, nurturing, thoughtful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will remain eternally in the hearts of her family and friends whose lives were blessed with her presence.

Visitation will be 10am to noon, Wednesday, Nov. 7th, with services following, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Darrell Reyman will be officiating at the services.
