Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, wife and mentor to everyone she came in contact with, Angelina "Angie" Crupi, passed away surrounded by several family members and became an Angel in Heaven May 12, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Vermont in 1946, moving to San Diego with her sister, Sarah, and then to Las Vegas in 1978. She has worked as an exceedingly successful executive management administrator in the business world of The Mirage and Hilton Hotels, as well as television network marketing earning the respect of everyone she worked with. She always put family first with her husband, Paul Crupi; and together, has eight much loved children, Dino Crupi, Joel Crupi, Christina Goettsch, Teri Gallion, Tony Mingarelli, Joey Mingarelli, Patrick Vaughan and Nicole McCoy; with also 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her happiness and sparkle in her eyes was cooking and preparing holiday Thanksgiving dinners for 70 to 110 family members and friends. Being reverend, loved and respected by countless people is putting a large smile in her eyes as she floats in the Heavens; always putting everyone else "First." She loved the outdoors, and especially riding her horse on the sands of the ocean beaches and traveling the globe with her loving husband, Paul. She will be missed by all who knew her and will remain in our hearts as an example of faith, courage, love and strength. Her beautiful smile, loving eyes and spirited laugh will always be in our hearts.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, May 16. Services and Rosary will be recited by Father Brian at 3 p.m. immediately following services, all at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Family and friends are to gather for a celebration of Angie's life at her home.
