Amalia Martinez, age 72, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born in Durango, Mexico on July 10, 1951. Amalia graduated from Blas Corral Martinez. She married Celestino Martinez Herrera on November 30, 1968. Amalia had a deep love for her family.
Amalia is survived by her husband, Celestino Martinez Herrera; children, Laura Martinez, Martin Martinez and Amelia Martinez; daughter-in-law, Luz Martinez, grandchildren, Asael Martinez and Ximena Martinez.
A visitation for Amalia will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1901 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89104. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
