Walter Norton

67, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Wally was born July 14, 1943 in Augusta, Maine and moved to this area 44 years ago coming from Augusta. He retired as a Dry Wall Finisher after 40 years. Wally was predeceased by his wife Barbara and two sons, Franklin Blair Norton and Dwayne Scott Norton. He is survived by two son, Walter, Jr of Pinellas Park and Derrick Edward of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada and two daughters, Maria Denise Kilpatrick of Augusta, SC and Lisa Rouke of Augusta, ME, a step son, Dennis Drake of Pinellas Park, FL and two step daughters, Terri Redd of Pinellas Park, FL and Debbie Drake of Largo, FL. Along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother, Allen Norton of St. Petersburg, FL and three sisters, Rosemary Norton and Marilyn Norton both of St. Petersburg, FL and Maxine Haynes of Maryland. Memorial Contributions may be offered to the St. Jude Children Hospital.
