Ronnie,
  	Where does one begin?  Your mom was pregnant with you when I first started at the Sheriff’s Office.  She was impossible not to love, and we became fast friends.  
We spent many years together celebrating life, and making some really great memories.  We were more like family gathering for holiday’s, birthday parties, and Busch Garden trips.  When money was tight your mom and I would pack a cooler and head out to the car at lunchtime then back to Land of the Dragons we’d go!  Countless hours spent laughing, playing, and squeezing every minute we could out of those trips.  
Even though I didn’t get to see you as much as I would have liked in the last couple of years, I had the privilege of watching you grow into a strong but sweet, handsome young man with an unforgettable smile!  Equally impressive was your love and admiration for your mom.  She was your world, and you were hers…I promise to be there for her every chance I get Ronnie.  

I’ll never forget you, and I’ll never abandon her.

I am remembering across the miles at this sad time.  Words are hard to come by when the hurt is so severe... The message is always the same - Jesus is more than this and He will help you in all your needs.  Trust in Him, thank Him for the gift of Ronnie - he is always your son - and live for Jesus.  Easy to write, hard to live in this crazy, mixed-up world.  There is hope and joy ahead - rely on your friends who have always loved you.  I remember you always my friend, and even more now. Ronnie was a once of a lifetime kind of person. He had the most beautiful happy soul and was truly wise beyond his years. 
I feel so grateful to have been able to cross paths with somebody like Ronnie. We shared countless beautiful memories that I will treasure forever.

To Ronnie's mom and dad- You raised the most extraordinary good hearted man that touched the lives of countless.

Heaven gained another angel, and knowing Ronnie I know he's looking down on all of us. 

Our memory of Ronnie was in his very early years, 4-5 years of age.  
Cute little one with a contagious laughter.   
Ruthie & I would arrange play dates with the boys.  We watched them rough house as young boys do, playing outdoors, toys cars etc.
As young Mom's,  we laughed together realizing how close in age they were, saying "1 year, 1 month, and 1 day difference.
We will always cherish the playful memories Ronnie.  




Ronnie was always an amazing friend to me. For a long time he was my safe place. He was always there to support me, comfort me, make me laugh, give me advice, and anything else I may have needed. As time went on, our friendship grew stronger and so did our bond. With Ronnie I experienced so many firsts. My first time shot gunning a beer, first time destroying a perfectly good impala... (what a night), and my favorite first of them all.. I am lucky enough to say that Ronnie was my first love. He taught me how to appreciate the small things in life, To appreciate the world around you and just really experience what it meant to be alive. Being in his presence created a spark in me that I didn’t even know was possible. Ronnie was an old soul and a free spirit. He was wise beyond his age and truly inspiring. His energy was contagious and his smile was a light in even the darkest of spaces. I will always be so thankful that I got to share and experience so many beautiful things with him. I’ll never forget annoying him with his “daily horoscope”, driving four wheelers through the woods, listening to him rap, floating down the river, staying out till 5 in the morning talking and enjoying each other’s company, arguing about what song to scream to while we drove down the beach, vacationing in California, star gazing, and all of our precious little moments in between. Ronnie truly brought out the best in me. He has made such a big impact on my life and helped me become who I am today. I will forever cherish the time I got to spend with him.

Ronnie was one of my best friends and truly my go to person. We talked frequently about our lives and what was in store for each of us. He would often make me stop and think on topics that weren’t daily thoughts for me but I know how important they were to him.  He would call me at all hours of the night just to talk about anything that came to his mind. He was the greatest friend I’ve ever known and I will truly miss all of the FaceTimes where I got to watch him rock out on his guitar. Thank you for all the laughs, conversations and wisdom that you shared with me. Until we meet again ❤️ I love you Ronnie.

I will always remember the days Cody would be your alarm clock.  He'd jump up on the bed and lick your face to wake you up.  There will always be a special place in my heart for you my dear nephew.

Ronnie touched my life in a way that I’ll forever hold close to my heart. He saw and heard me when I felt very alone in this world. A moment I’ll forever cherish is walking down Madeira beach one night and laying down looking at the stars, we talked about the universe and the point to all of this. The purpose we all have walking this Earth. He had a wisdom of this life and world that was way beyond his time. He had one of the purest souls I have ever come across. He is loved and cherished here and he’s loved and cherished on the other side. I love you Ronnie, thank you for making an impact on my life in ways you never knew. 

my bestfriend, my brother, blood couldnt of made us any closer and i feel like this picture really shows that. From all those nights staying up playing video games until our eyes couldn't stay open to us driving to New York City after graduation like we had always talked about. Theres not a soul on this planet i would of rather shared those times with.  i love you ronnie 

From Pre-K, Oakhurst Elementary, Oakhurst learning center and all of grade school. You were truly one of a kind, with a golden soul, and a heart full of wisdom. Your smile could light up any room and your laugh and facial expressions were contagious. You will be greatly missed by many my friend. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship all of these years and always giving the best advice! I will forever cherish our memories growing up. We will always remember you. We will fight for you. I hope you're dancing, smiling and playing the guitar in heaven. Until we meet again, you are forever young. Friends forever 💜

My husband my sister and I worked with  Ronnie and Kyle.  Ronnie was such a hard worker yet would always take the time to stop and ask someone how they’re doing and if they needed anything. To watch Kyle and Ronnie work together was a joy. They would joke around and always make everyone smile, they had such a strong bond. Ronnie may you be smiling and partying above. You will be missed. 

Ronnie was one of the sweetest souls and was always down for a god time with his family and friends with the BIGGEST smile on his face. He will be missed by so many ❤️

Ronnie was one of the best guys I think I’ll ever know. His smile lit up the room and his laugh is a sound I wish I could have on repeat. He will be truly missed and he will never be forgotten.

Ronnie is survived by his father, Ron Martin; Mother, Ruth Whiteley (Ray Whiteley); grand-parents Rick and Virginia Martin of Seminole, FL, Grandpa, George Udall of Massillon, OH and grandma, Bev Whiteley; two step-brothers, Ryan Martin and Raymond Whiteley; one step-sister, Christina Whiteley and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Preceding Ronnie in death is his Grandmother Virginia Udall and his Great-Aunt Sally.
