Mary Lucille Brim

Mary Lucille Brim, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 with family at her side. She is survived by her granddaughters Adrianne Green Bennett (Samuel Neel Bennett), and Whitney Morgan Kahler (Scott Plagens); great grandson Ethan Green; two sisters, Doris Moose, and Virginia Reynolds; Nieces, Libby Potts (Tony Graham Potts), and Linda Ballard (Ken Ballard); Nephew, Harold Moose Jr. and grand nephew Kevin Potts. She was the daughter of Neva Leola Keever Bennett and Meaver Andrew Bennett of Statesville, North Carolina and she was one of 10 children.

Mary Lucille was born in 1930 and lived a long and wonderful life with her husband Joe Bill Brim (2005) and daughters Barbara "Bobbie" Louise Kahler and Lynette Brooks (2016). They enjoyed their families, their golf games, numerous bridge groups, custom toy making and their granddaughters, Adrianne and Whitney.

Nana and "Big Daddy" rarely missed a soccer game or swim meet and loved playing joyfully with their granddaughters. Along with "Big Daddy", she was always in attendance at St. Paul's Lessons and Carols and Grandparents Day once they moved to Florida in 1993 from North Carolina.

Lucille was known for her kindness to family in need and was there for so many of her nieces and nephews over the years, acting as surrogate Mom to many. She will be missed.
