He was born on August 24, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to Mildred Abshire and Donald Donaldson.
Jim graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Masters degree in Business Administration.
He was married to Carroll Ann for too many good years to count.
Jimmy loved cooking, fishing, live music, eating and spending time with his grandkids.
Jim is survived by his wife Carroll Ann; his daughters Tracy and Stephanie; his stepdaughter Sara; his brothers Richard, Robert and David; his grandchildren Caroline and John, Corinne, Danielle and Owen, Andrew, Noah and Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred, his grandmother Lessie and his father Donald.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the Randolph Farms clubhouse on March 9.
