She is survived by three children–Teresa L. Taylor of Largo, FL, Carol T. (Keith) Wilks of Lexington, SC, and Kerry D. Taylor of Fort Lauderdale, FL; three loving grandchildren–Jessica (Nicolas) Easterlin, Brandon Wilks and Taylor Wilks; two great grandchildren–Emerson and Ellis Easterlin; and many brothers and sisters and their families. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Gene Taylor; and daughters, Linda Taylor and Desiree Taylor.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all, and quickly took to new people in her life. In recent years, she enjoyed walking her loving companion dog, Jax, under the lush canopy of the Harbor Bluffs community, fishing, and exercising at the Morton Plant gym. Family visits were a constant, and she always had a nicely set table for the wonderful meals she and daughter, Terry prepared. She was an avid reader of mysteries and enthusiastically tackled the puzzles each day in the Tampa Bay Times. She was a kind neighbor, assisting those in need and always willing to share or pitch in.
She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church in Glennville, GA, and also attended the Anona Methodist Church in Largo, FL. She and Gene worked as a real estate agents, owning A Better Way Realty for many years in the Largo area. It gave her great satisfaction helping families get settled into new homes.
She was an amazing mother and sister, and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services will be held in Glennville, GA at the Harmony United Methodist Church!
