Bobby J Crozier

Bobby was born in Hinton, West Virginia, and raised in Connorsville, Indiana. He graduated from Harrison Township High School in Muncie, Indiana, class of 1957. In 1959, Bobby, with his mother and brother Orville, moved to Florida, when Bobby began a long career in construction.

Bobby was a member for many years in The Largo Lions Club. He received the Grand Lion Life Member of The Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind. In 2018, he was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for his dedicated humanitarian services.

Bobby was also a faithful and long-time member of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he spent many hours volunteering for capital improvements and the annual Greek Festival.

Bobby met the love of his life Harriet and married her in 1980. They spent 42 years together. In 2008, Bobby converted to Orthodoxy to share the faith with his wife and took the name Spyridon. His comical and commonly used motto was “Happy Wife, Happy Life”.

He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Peter and Orville, nephew Danny and daughter Melody.

Bobby is survived by his wife Harriet, son Bryan (Colleen) Crozier, daughters Lisa (Spiro) Bobotas and Sirrena (Joe) Riotto, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. A trisagion will be held beginning at 7pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, 3600 76th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 with a committal service and makaria following at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park and Serenity Funeral Home.
