William “Bill” Suska, 84, of Lansing, Michigan, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born June 25, 1930 to William and Anna (Otis) Suska. Bill was a veteran of the Korean War, having served his country in both the United States Air Force and the National Guard. He was a proud Oldsmobile employee for 44 years. Bill enjoyed golfing and bowling. He loved spending time with his family at his cottage on Arbutus Lake. Bill was a volunteer at McRee House and Box 23. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy “Dottie”; and sister-in-law, Natalie Dean. Surviving to cherish Bill’s memory are his children, Patricia (Dennis) Delaney, Robert Suska, Barbara Suska, Sharon Suska; grandchildren, Ann (Scott) Sarber, David (Drew) Delaney, Ryan Delaney; great grandchildren, Nolan, Graham and Breck Sarber, and Ivan Otis Delaney; sister, Janet (Jerry) Wheeler; sisters-in-law, Trudie (Steve) Moon, Cheryl “Snook” Hagerman, brother-in-law, Paul Dean; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday June 10, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Lansing Chapel at 900 East Michigan Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at Grace United Methodist Church, 1900 Boston Ave., Lansing, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
