Walter Wilson Gierke, 41, passed away April 9th, 2023 in an ATV roll over accident near his home in Lansing, MI. He was born February 14th, 1982 in Lansing Michigan to Nellie May Garvie, and William Arthur Gierke. He was a hard working man, who did many jobs from backyard mechanics, construction, home renovation, lawn care, snow removal, you name it, he did it, you break it, he knew how to fix it.
Walter was preceded in death by his father, William Gierke and nephew, Christopher Quarles.
He was survived by his 3 children, Jazmine Gierke, Damian Gierke, and Azrael Gierke. His mother Nellie Garvie, 3 older sisters, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on April 21, 2023 at 2:00pm at Burchfield Park, 881 Grovenburg Rd Holt, MI 48842, in the North Bluff Pavillion.
