Ted was born on November 1, 1967 to Janet and Dan Fronczak in Lansing, MI.
After high school, Ted spent some time in Los Angeles, California working various jobs, including Met Life. He met his partner, Dannie Stewart, and they have been together for 29 years. Ted's mother and father were very happy 14 years ago when they moved back to Lansing. Ted and Dannie eventually bought their own small business. Ted owned Metro Retro in Old Town for 8 years. He loved shopping for unique items to sell at his stores. Ted had many customers who loved him. Dannie owned a pet grooming shop in East Lansing and was very well respected and had many happy clients.
One of Ted's favorite activities was going to concerts, some of which he had to fly to Los Angeles and New York for. He was terrified of flying, but it didn't stop him from going. He especially loved the Sinead O'Connor tribute in New York. He recently attended a concert in Detroit where Dionne Warwick was performing.
In 1974, Ted's mother, Janet, married Roger Crosthwaite. Ted and Roger became very close after the dreaded teenage years and both loved each other dearly.
Ted is survived by his loving partner Dannie Stewart; mother Janet Crosthwaite; brothers Tim (Zina) Crosthwaite, Jim Laviolette and Michael Fronczak; sisters Loriean Barnes, Christine Fronczak and Amanda Potter; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Ted was preceded in death by his 2 fathers Dan Fronczak and Roger Crosthwaite; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Ted was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed.
